Enlargement to A0 and reduction to A4, automatic cleanup, multiple sets and collating amongst other features.
We can print or copy from A2 - A0 sizes.
For printing electronic files we need either a .PLOT or .PDF file.
For .PLT Files we will supply you with all the necessary details on setting up from AUTOCAD to print. Ask us for the .PDF File disk on how to or we can email it to you.
To make reordering more plans as easy as a phone call or email, we can securely archive your files in PDF format - just ask at the time of ordering.
If you will be using these drawings ‘On-Site’, consider laminating them to protect them from the elements.
These plans can be scanned to a .PDF file and copied onto a CD/DVD for record keeping / archiving or on-forwarding to another party.

- Saddle Stitching
- Single Stapling
- Double Stapling

Wire Binding
Wire binding is an excellent way to add finish to your document presentation. This is the predominant method binding used today as it offers excellence in function and presentation Additionally we offer a selection of colours for the back cover including: white, black, blue, red & green. Also a choice of shiny or matt clear front covers.
We can bind just a few pages up to 250 sheets with ease.
Plasticoil Binding

We can bind just a few pages up to 250 sheets with ease.
Saddle Stitching
With saddle stitching your document is printed on A3 sheets then folded in half to A4 and double stapled in the centre. It can also start as A4 and be folded to A5 for a smaller manual.
The document can be either ‘self cover’ where the first and last page form the outside cover, or it can have a pre-printed cover wrapped around it prior to binding.
Saddle stitching is very economical form of binding but there is a limit to the number of pages that can be in the manual.
This limit is determined by the thickness of the paper used. The thinner the paper, the more sheets can be saddle stitched.
Sheet capacity (80gsm) - 2 to 18 sheets (up to 72 page booklet)
Shrink Wrapping
Your finished printed products can be shrink wrapped individually or in bundles to seal and protect them for transport.
Ring Binders (2,3 or 4 ring)

Sheet capacity (80gsm) - 2 to 500 sheets
Single & Dual Stapling
About the most simplest and cheapest form of binding, we can staple the edges of your document with two staples or put a single staple in the top left hand corner.
Sheet capacity (80gsm) - 2 to 100 sheets
Laminating
Laminating is a plastic coating that is used to improve the appearance and add durability to your jobs. Once a sheet is laminated it is waterproof so it can be used in all weathers. It is ideal for large plans and such items as handy reference sheets.
We use A4 & A3 Pouches in heavy - strong 150 micron film and continuous rolls up to 77cm wide in 75 micron film.
We can laminate paper up to 200gsm in weight.
This is generally a same day service, pouch laminating is on the spot (about 10 minutes)
with roll (larger than A3) laminating done daily a 3.30 pm.
There are many reasons to laminate: protect, preserve, deepens and brightens colours, keeps creases and wrinkles at a minimum. Laminate posters, house & building plans, menus, id cards, place mats and more.
The easiest and most inexpensive way to protect and enhance your printed materials is through laminating.
Computer Services
Printing has gone digital and we are fully equipped to handle the preparation of your jobs from either electronic files or your hard copy originals.
Design & Desktop Publishing
From a simple business card to a multi-page catalogue, we can help you with all of your design requirements. Give us a call to discuss your project.
Acrobat "PDF" File Creation
Adobe Acrobat is the standard application for creating fully formatted electronic documents. These "PDF" files or "Portable Document Format" files are default file format that all of our digital printers accept.
When sending us your files to print we actively encourage you to create your own PDF file rather than sending us the native file in Word, Pagemaker, Excel etc. format. Not only will this reduce your cost but also improve turnaround times and reduce the chance of errors.
Creating PDF files is easy - click here to find out how
In the event you are unable to create a PDF file, then we can accept your files in the following applications.
- Microsoft Word, Excel & Powerpoint
- CorelDraw (fonts converted to outlines please)
- Adobe Illustrator (fonts converted to outlines please)
A fee will be charged for us to convert from this native format to PDF format prior to printing.
Image Scanning
We can scan your photos in high resolution, high quality colour up to A3 size and either place them directly into your job or give them back to you on CD for you to work with.
High Speed Document Scanning - Colour or Black & White
Need to have easy access to a range of documentation that you have as hard copy only? If you are travelling or need to distribute / archive a lot of information we can scan it to a CD in colour or Black & White and make as many copies as you like.
We have a number of Maintenance Contractors, Solicitors, Builders, Plumbings and Real Estate companies that regularly avail themselves of this service.
One maintenance company always makes at least three copies.... one for archive, one for the client which is left on site and one for the maintenance technician who carries it to the job. Imagine a typical Maintenance contract which has six ring binders full of technical information reduced to one CD accessible via his laptop on the job.
A specialised Real Estate company handling the sales of vineyards and other particular rural properties always makes a CD of the documentation once it is all signed. As they are PDF Image files and are literally pictures of the pages there can be no dispute as to the contents at any future time.
A solicitor regularly stores case files on CD especially where it is a complex issue, these can go into court on a laptop and subsequently be filed as an archive.
Depending on the type and state of the original document (s) we can scan through a document feeder at 50 copies a minute plus.
Pricing on application based on your requirements
Soft & Hard Proofing
Prior to your job being printed, we will generate an accurate proof for you to check for errors. If you send us your file electronically (eg. PDF) we will run a test print and compare it to your file. We actively encourage you to check this test print prior to us printing your job to avoid errors and costly reprints.
If checking the hard copy print is not an option, we will email you back a "soft" PDF proof for your approval. Please note that colours shown on computer screens can vary significantly from the final printed version - if colour matters, check the hard copy proof.
CD/ DVD Burning
Once your job is complete we can burn it to CD / DVD for you for safe keeping. Also talk to us about production of longer runs of CD's.
